Alumni

Shiv Nadar University Alumni have the pride and promise to continue to be a beacon of transformational education.

Being a part of and having graduated from the young Shiv Nadar University, its proud alumni are promising critical thinkers; trained to spearhead research and ethical entrepreneurship and create value for next generation of India and the world.

The University’s Alumni Relations Office (ARO) was established in January 2015. The Office takes care of alumni engagement and maintains a communication channel with them, keeping them informed of the University's achievements and making them a part of University's future and not just its past.

The Office works towards maintaining a healthy relationship with the alumni and kick started with following initial activities -

  • Setting up the Alumni Association and electing the council members
  • Initiating city wise chapters starting with the U.S. and Chennai
  • Organizing interactive session with the Alumni on pursuing higher education overseas
  • Publish the Yearbook
  • Be an active connect between the University and the alumni through the social media such as Facebook

Buddy Program

Buddy Program

The Buddy Program at Shiv Nadar University is specially designed to establish a strong relationship between the graduating class and the alumni. Any student in their third year can volunteer to study with alumni making them their ‘buddy’. The alumni in turn 'adopts' a student of the graduating class and guides them with their career aspirations. While the students learn from the ready advice from alumni who are established in a real-life work environment, the alumni, in turn, get an opportunity to engage with the graduating class and introduce them to the industry, giving them a chance to develop their skills in personal support and contribute to building the future.

Giving

Shiv Nadar University has an Alumni Relations Office (ARO) which facilitates relations between the alumni and the University. The University appreciates any kind of resource that the alumni might feel like contributing to the University. By ‘Giving’, we mean the alumni donating their time or financial and other resources to the University in the spirit to ‘give back’ to their alma mater. To give to the University, please write to us alumnirelations@snu.edu.in
